WILD HORSE THEATER PRESENTS THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE
Wild Horse Theater Company is proud to present the Tony® Award winning musical comedy, THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE - one of Broadway's most buzzed about hits! Performances are April 9, 10, 16, 17, 23, 24 at 8 pm and April 18 at 4 pm at 813 N. Carson Street in Carson City. This award-winning musical is fresh off the national tour and recently closed on Broadway after nearly 1,200 performances. THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNUM COUNTY SPELLING BEE captures the quirky competition of a county spelling bee with all the usual suspects that are in the throes of puberty. From the reigning spelling champion, to the hyper do-gooder with the lisp, the nerdy kid with a host of health problems, and the second alternate that never expected to compete; they all unite through their love of spelling. The New York Times has called SPELLING BEE "irresistible, riotously funny and remarkably ingenious …" And, SPELLING BEE offers audience members a chance to join the fun by becoming on-stage spellers (strictly voluntary, of course). SPELLING BEE is rated PG-13 and is recommended for theatre goers 13 and over for its adult content. Tickets for THE 25TH ANNUAL PUTNAM COUNTY SPELLING BEE are $18 for general public and $15 for seniors and students.
